Oh…… and Madonna got #1 albums, haha. Her first #1 in Japan in 12 years - sad huh? Confessions got #5 first week with 53k sales…. this must be one of the lowest selling #1 albums in japan??
Go ayu! Mirrorcle World is up to 181,444 sales this week. Poor MISIA though, Yes Forever has been her lowest charting single in a while…. even though Royal Chocolate Flush and ANY LOVE both did only sell around 8k~ first week. In Albums, Utada’s HEART STATION is still going strong! It’s the power of “Prisoner of Love,” without that song, the album’d be dying like ULTRA BLUE did. For a comparison of sales, HEART STATION has sold 818,335 at 7 weeks while ULTRA BLUE had sold 836,449, but for about the first four/five weeks, HEART STATION was selliling roughly 20k less each week until it didn’t fall as much. HEART STATION’s 7th week was 29,905 compared to ULTRA BLUE’s mere 12,105. Maybe HEART STATION will eventually break the million mark??

GYARU POWAH FTW!!! How Diamond Princess sold so crap is beyond me, but glad that TOKYO STAR is making up for lost ground. I mean, she could end up selling more than BoA’s latest album! ^o^/~
Mirrorcle World better sell 200k. I’m really confident that she can. Poor MISIA though. =( And yeah, Shit Candy must be one of the lowest selling #1 albums on Oricon history. I wonder if it’s the same for SoundScan.
